Take the next step towards ultimate organization by doing these five things in your Shoeboxed account each month. Spending ten minutes of your time to do these tasks will help you save even more time during tax season and when you’re closing out your yearly finances.

1. Edit your incomplete receipts

This feature makes it easier than ever to make sure everything is squared away and accurate in your Shoeboxed account. Any receipts missing crucial information will be displayed in this section so you can quickly add the information and move on. Visit this section of your account to view receipts with no date, $0 totals, no store name or a missing category, then add the offending information and you’re done! 2. Get reimbursed

Request a Receipt from Shoeboxed helps you get the receipts you need from co-workers, clients and friends. Instead of having to track down the receipt holder yourself, you can just go to the Request a Receipt page of your account, then simply enter their email address and your receipt request. We’ll send your friend an email with a link to upload the receipt, and once they do so, we’ll process it and add it to your account! We’ll even let you know when it’s ready.

3. Track your spending

With anytime expense reports, you have no excuses to prevent you from tracking your spending! Shoeboxed offers reports of your receipt data in PDF, Excel and CSV format, so pick your favorite and get exporting! The PDF export is your best choice if you want the receipt images to be included in your report, but the CSV export is great if you want to import your data into an accounting solution or other software. You can also use one of our integrations to send receipt data directly to QuickBooks, Wave, Xero and other accounting programs to track your spending.

4. Get free credits
