Have you ever heard the words, “Does everyone know how to get in the brace position? We’re headed in for an emergency landing.”? On his flight to JFK airport on Tuesday, Dan was forced to contemplate death as the airplane he was traveling in spiraled to the ground. Okay, that’s an exaggeration, but the rear landing gear refused to lock down. Rather than landing in JFK, they rerouted the plane to Newark Airport where, apparently, they are better prepared to deal with skidding, wheel-less planes. In the end, there was nothing dramatic– no sparks, no explosions, and no emergency inflatable slides.
