New Evernote Integration Released!

Hey Evernote Shoeboxers,

Evernote LogoYou asked, and we delivered! With our new Evernote integration you can now set up your Shoeboxed account to automatically forward your receipts, business cards, bills and other documents directly into your Evernote account. We even give you the option to choose which notebook each document type is sent to!

As always, Shoeboxed will scan, data extract and verify the contents of any document you send our way. Then, if you’d like, we’ll pass this information along to your Evernote account for archiving and storage. And it all happens 100% automatically!

To set up the new Evernote integration simply navigate to the “Integrations” tab in the “Account & Settings” of your Shoeboxed account.

If you have any feedback or questions about our new Evernote integration please reach us 24/7 at or give us a shout on Twitter @Shoeboxed.

We’ll be sure to keep you in the loop as more upgrades and fun new features are released!

Stay Organized,

The Shoeboxed Team

    Cool stuff.

How does this work, specifically? As soon as the documents have their data entered they get sent to evernote? Or will it upload once a week (or some other interval)? Does editing a receipt trigger a sync to evernote? Do documents in the DIY program get sent automatically?

    Hi Rene,
Our new integration includes an auto-archive option that will send your documents straight to the Evernote notebook of your choice immediately after your documents have completed processing at Shoeboxed. This works for documents you data enter yourself and for documents that are processed by Shoeboxed.

If you don’t want to enable the auto-archive feature, you can still do manual exports to Evernote by selecting the documents you want to export and then choosing “Archive in Evernote” from the drop-down menu in your Shoeboxed account.

Editing a document in Shoeboxed unfortunately does not automatically make that same edit in Evernote, however.

You can set up the new integration by going to “Account & Settings” and then “Integrations.” If you have any further questions, email us at and we’ll be happy to help.
