SBX:  How did you come to find a need for Shoeboxed?

As a realtor, you accumulate so much paperwork from all spheres: paycheck stubs, invoices, bills, contracts, tax information, bills, you name it. Anytime you can digitize paperwork without wasting your assistant’s time is valuable. I needed an administrative assistant that was always available and cost effective; Shoeboxed fit both of those roles perfectly!

SBX: Awesome, that’s the kind of feedback we like! What features of the service have you found most beneficial?

The service is 1000% accurate, which is a big relief for those of us that hate dealing with paperwork management. And with Shoeboxed, I’m never wasting time searching for a receipt. Thanks to your online categorizing system I’m able to find and e-mail invoices and receipts directly to my tax preparer. Recently I needed to locate paperwork related to my car repairs, taxes and bills. And guess what? Logging into Shoeboxed helped me find all the invoices, receipts and notices instantaneously.

SBX: Excellent! And the more time you save, the more you can focus on running your business, right? How does Shoeboxed help you manage your business more effectively?

I use Google Apps for my business cards, which I then upload to my Shoeboxed account. When I login to Shoeboxed, all my new contacts are there for me to export into my HTC Evo. It’s way faster (and easier) than doing it by hand!

Shoeboxed also helps me keep track of my various miscellaneous expenses in running my business: dinners, office supplies, printers, etc. This makes returning items a breeze because I’ll never lose receipts and always find them in a matter of seconds.

SBX: Precisely. You’ve been using our service for quite some time now. Do you have any advice for someone who may be considering using Shoeboxed?

In my opinion, Shoeboxed is built to help entrepreneurs of all types: realtors, small business owners, artists, anything!  The service is very user friendly, precise and professional for the level of work it handles for you. And the best part is having Shoeboxed recycle most of my paperwork for me!
