Today we’re excited to announce a brand new feature to help you get reimbursed and make sure all of your purchases are accounted for: Request a Receipt!
Do you have a friend or co-worker that you need to track down for a receipt? Don’t worry! Now Shoeboxed will take care of that tedious, annoying process for you.
Simply hit the “Request a Receipt” button on your dashboard or from the upload page. Then fill out the request form and we’ll email your friend with a link to upload the receipt or other document. Once we receive it, we’ll process the document and add it to your account. We’ll even let you know when it’s ready to view!
Is your friend forgetful? Don’t worry, we’ll take care of that too! We’ll send them a reminder to submit the receipt you need.
Note: You may request any document type with this feature.

Shoeboxed has always been proud of its heritage as the original email receipt processingcompany. For 5 year now (that’s 48,300 hours!) we’ve been busy processing your e-receipts. And with the recent introduction of email@example.com, we’re just as committed to processing your e-receipts today as we were five years ago. So let’s celebrate the last five years!
The challenge is this: send us a photo of the messiest, most disorganized pile of paper clutter on your desk and you’ll be entered to win an iPad, pre-loaded with the Shoeboxed app to help you quickly dispose of that messy pile!

Here at Shoeboxed, we’re committed to making it as easy and painless as possible for you to stay organized. With that in mind, today we’re excited to announce the newest feature in our organization revolution: firstname.lastname@example.org!
Beginning today, send any receipt, business card, bill or other document to one easy-to-remember email address and it will automatically be sorted, processed, human-verified and added to your Shoeboxed account. No more remembering or saving multiple email addresses – email@example.com can handle it all! Whether your document is in the body of the email or attached to it, our new unified inbox will catch and sort anything you send us!
If you are already a Shoeboxed member, please make sure to send your documents from the email address associated with your account so that we add it correctly.
Don’t have a Shoeboxed account? Simply send a document to firstname.lastname@example.org and we’ll process it for you! You’ll receive an email from us once it’s processed and waiting in your brand new, forever free online account.
As always, the accepted file types for attachments include: .png, .jpg, .gif and PDF.
In addition to email@example.com, we will also continue to offer our handy shopping email addresses, which are unique to each Shoeboxed account. This address is simply yourusername.PIN@shoeboxed.com and is the perfect solution for keeping e-receipts and other email clutter from stores out of your personal inbox. Just give any online or physical store your shopping email address during checkout and let Shoeboxed handle the rest! Any e-receipt sent to your shopping address will be automatically added to your Shoeboxed account, and anything we do not identify as a receipt (such as coupons and promotional emails) will be stored in your Email Quarantine for you to peruse at your leisure.
