You May Qualify for Tax Relief from Washington Winter Storms

Victims of recent severe winter storms, landslides, mudslides, and flooding in Washington may qualify for tax relief from the Internal Revenue Service. Following severe winter storms, landslides, mudslides, and flooding on Jan. 6, 2009, the President declared Benton, Clallam, Cowlitz, Grays Harbor, King, Kittitas,   Lewis, Mason, Pacific, Pierce, Skagit, Snohomish, Thurston, Wahkiakum and Whatcom counties federal disaster areas qualifying for individual assistance.
